Yes, we allow a maximum of 2 dogs in the house.
Please bring all your own dog bedding, towels and bowls.
Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. All dog waste must be cleared up and binned in the appropriate bins outside.
Any damages must be paid for.
Dogs must not be left unattended in the property or on the campsite.
Campsite rules must be adhered to including keeping dogs on a short leash at all times.
Yes. A doggy shower is available on the campsite for all customers to use. Please do not bath or shower your pooch in the house bathrooms or within the site shower blocks.
Check-in is between 4-6.30pm
Check-out is 10am
All arrivals must report to the site reception office on arrival and ensure the staff have the correct vehicle registration (s) for all cars on site.
A key is available in the key safe at the house so you don’t need to worry about losing it when out and about.
Yes. Both are available in the laundry room. There is also a covered outside hanging area for sandy beach items. Airers are available indoors for non-tumble dry items.
Yes. There is a large freezer downstairs in the utility area. The fridge in the kitchen also has a small ice box.
Yes. Wifi is available and the access code is displayed in frames throughout the house. It is included in the house rental price
Yes. We ask that you confirm the number of beds required. There are 3 bedrooms with super-king sized beds in which can be unzipped to create large single beds. In the family room there are also 2 single beds. Beds will be made up according to the instructions you give.
A travel cot is available on request. You will need to supply baby’s own bedding. NB: There is a bathtub in the family bathroom but no baby bath.
Yes. The wetroom on the ground floor has been designed for reduced mobility users. There is a shower, toilet and wash basin with grab handles and alarm pull-cords in the bathroom, and space for a carer too.
In the kitchen there is an under-counter fridge with ice compartment (there’s a freezer in the utility room downstairs), a kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, full-size fan oven, 4-ring hob, cleaning set including washing-up liquid and sponges, bin liners, foil and cling film and even the kitchen sink!
Yes, there’s a retractable safety gate at the top of the stairs to keep children and pets safe.
Please note that there isn’t one at the bottom due to the stairlift. Please take extra care with small children and don’t leave them unattended downstairs until they are safe to manage stairs on their own.
All three bedrooms contain large single beds which offer the option of being zip-linked together to make a Super-kingsize. The family bedroom also has a single bed with additional pull-out trundle bed. A travel cot is also available if required. Please specify your preferred bedroom configuration at the time of booking.
In Barmouth we have a medium sized Co-op and Iceland.
Porthmadog has Tesco, Lidl and Aldi (30 mins North).
Further afield in Pwllheli is ASDA, in Caernarfon is a Morrisons and in Menai Bridge there is a Waitrose.
M&S Food is in Bangor.
Tesco & ASDA will do online ordered delivery service to Gwel yr Haul and Co-op will deliver to the house if you have picked your own items instore. Please note that you must have arrived in order to accept a delivery as staff aren’t always available to accept orders.
Barmouth itsself has many independent shops, cafes and restaurants as well as pubs.
Rowlands Pharmacy in Barmouth is on the high street opposite The Factory Shop.
